Help Wanted – Bike To Work Week

Transportation Choices – Sunshine Coast (TraC) is seeking applicants for a contract to deliver services related to Bike to Work Week (BTWW) 2018. The successful applicant will have experience working independently in a volunteer or non-profit context, with the ability to self-organize, juggle tasks, work well with people and ensure clear communication with TraC board members, volunteers and BTWW participants. The contract tasks include recruitment of BTWW participants, social media outreach, volunteer coordination and organizing BTWW wrap up party. The contract is for a total of 120 -140 hours at a rate of $22/hr, inclusive of all applicable taxes (and not including out of pocket expenses, which will be reimbursed by TraC where receipts are provided). The contractor will be responsible for his or her own computer and transportation. The specific start date is negotiable, but all tasks must be fulfilled in time for BTWW May 28 – June 3, with approximately 20 hours to be spent ‘post event’ up until June 15th.
